Who we are

Butt Oil Traders is an engine-oil and auto-parts shop at Shami Auto Market, Ferozpur Road, Lahore. We run this website and we are responsible for the information you share on it.

Information we collect

  • When you place an order: your name, phone number, delivery address, city and the products you ordered.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address or phone number and whatever you write in the message. This includes WhatsApp chats and calls about an order.
  • When you create an account or join our updates: your email address and login details. Passwords are stored in encrypted form; we cannot read them.
  • When you browse the site: the pages and products you view, what you add to your cart, your device and browser type, and your IP address. This comes from cookies and the tools listed below.

Cookies, analytics and advertising tools

Some cookies are needed for the shop to work, for example to remember your cart or keep you logged in. Other cookies and scripts help us understand how the site is used and whether our ads are working. We currently use:

  • Google Analytics, to see which pages people visit and how they move through the shop.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our ads on those apps.
  • TikTok Pixel, to measure our ads on TikTok.

These tools can record events such as page views, product views, add-to-cart and purchases, together with device and browser details. Google, Meta and TikTok process this data under their own privacy policies. You can decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner, clear cookies in your browser at any time, and change your ad settings inside your Google, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts. More detail is on our Cookies page.

How we use your information

  • To confirm, pack and deliver your order, and to call or WhatsApp you about it.
  • To answer your questions and handle returns.
  • To send you updates, only if you signed up for them.
  • To see what is working on the website and in our ads, so we can improve both.

Who we share it with

  • Courier companies receive your name, phone number and address so they can deliver your parcel.
  • Payment providers (your bank, JazzCash or Easypaisa) handle any payment you send them under their own terms.
  • Google, Meta and TikTok receive the browsing and event data described above through their tools.
  • Authorities, only if the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for delivery, returns, accounts and tax. We keep your email for updates until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will do so unless we have to keep a record by law.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@buttoiltraders.pk or WhatsApp 0328-4500975 and tell us what you need. Every update email has an unsubscribe link.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and only people who handle your order can see it. We do not take card payments on this website, so we never see or store your card details.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
