Liqui Moly Cera Tec – 300 ml
High-tech ceramic wear protection. Reduces friction and wear through ceramic compounds offering high chemical and thermal resistance. Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, increasing the service life of the assembly. Reduces fuel consumption in petrol and diesel engines thanks to the low-friction effect.
Miscible with all commercially available motor oils and motor vehicle gear oils. For engines, manual transmissions, pumps and compressors. Added to the respective oil; self-mixing. Sufficient for 5 litres of oil, with a long-term effect lasting around 50,000 km. Suitable for toothed belts running in oil. Not suitable for use with wet clutches (most motorcycles).
How to use Cera Tec
Add the full 300 ml can to warm engine oil (ideally at an oil change, after filling fresh oil). One can treats up to 5 litres of oil. Cera Tec is self-mixing – no shaking or special procedure needed. Do not exceed the maximum oil level.

What is the difference between Cera Tec and MoS2 oil additive?
Cera Tec uses ceramic (hexagonal boron nitride) compounds with a long-term effect of around 50,000 km; the MoS2 Oil Additive uses molybdenum disulphide and is added at every oil change. Cera Tec is the premium, longer-lasting option.
Can I use Cera Tec in a hybrid car?
Cera Tec is miscible with all commercially available motor oils, including the 0W-20 grades used by hybrids. Follow the dosage: one 300 ml can for up to 5 litres of oil.
Can I use Cera Tec in my motorcycle?
No – it is not suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches. Ask us for the motorbike-specific additives instead.
When should I add it?
Best added at an oil change to fresh, warm oil so it circulates fully. It can also be added between changes if the oil level allows.
